OFFICE MANAGER
We are currently hiring for a full-time Office Manager. We are in search of someone who is detail-oriented, a problem solver, and enjoys working with customers. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and has accounting experience. The Officer Manager is the official custodian of records, and must be prepared to maintain the District’s records in compliance with Kansas Statute. The Office Manager prepares and posts agendas for meetings of the Board of Directors. This position also oversees the accounting functions of the District. The Office Manager is expected to attend all meetings of the Board of Directors and is responsible for taking minutes of the meetings. GENERAL MANAGER
We are currently accepting resumes from qualified candidates to serve as General Manager.
The ideal candidate is an experienced manager and demonstrates outstanding leadership skills. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience supervising employees. The next General Manager is business-oriented with a customer service focus. The selected candidate will thrive in facilitating policy discussions and strategic planning among the Board of Directors. Experience in capital project planning and managing projects, budgets and deadlines is important. He/she must be an exceptional communicator both verbally and in writing.
Post Rock Rural Water District serves nearly 1,500 retail customers across 10 counties. The General Manager is responsible for planning and budgeting activities to maintain and grow the District.
Post Rock Rural Water District offers a competitive compensation package. The anticipated salary range for the General Manager position is $75,000 - $100,000. The District offers a generous benefit package including employer paid health and dental insurance, employer contributions towards retirement (Simple IRA plan), and paid time off benefits.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or related field (preferred);
- Five (5+) years of accounting/finance experience (preferred);
- Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
License Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s license with insurable driving record (required).
